I’m really glad you’re here
Here’s a closer look at who I am, the work I do, and the story behind it.
My happy place
I’m a native Detroiter, mom to a creative son, and we’ve got an energetic Cava-Tzu running the house. I love nature and believe there’s no such thing as too many houseplants. When I’m not working, you can find me curled up with a cup of coffee and a good book, on the ice in my hockey skates, or rollerblading through the park. Lately, Luther Vandross on repeat has been my go-to playlist.
My career journey
I started my career early—by 19, I was already a lead producer at a major media company. Since then, I’ve worked across corporate, nonprofit, and ministry sectors, where a consistent thread has been guiding teams and organizations through new initiatives, growth, and transitions. One of my favorite projects is the Detroit Experience Studio—a creative program I launched that has grown from a 15-student pilot into a year-round organization serving over 190 students annually and expanding into new markets.
My work today
Today, I am head of global communications for a leading creative transformation agency, building the function from the ground up and driving integrated strategic communications across a multi-agency ecosystem spanning five continents.
After years of helping others build and scale their visions, I felt called to do the same for my own. In 2026, I launched my strategic communications and advisory practice, helping leaders bring new ideas to life from concept to execution and beyond. Alongside that work, I’m a spoken word artist, writer, and teacher.
So that’s my story, for now
What about you? I’d love to hear what you’re working on and explore opportunities to build something beautiful together.
My education and credentials
I hold a bachelor’s degree in professional communications from Siena Heights University, graduating magna cum laude, and a master’s degree in ministry from Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University. I was also ordained in The Wesleyan Church, where I serve as a pastor.
