A little bit about me
“First ever and never done before are where I do my best work. I help leaders launch new ideas, from concept to execution and beyond.
My experience spans corporate, nonprofit, and ministry sectors. I’ve led global communications, launched education and community impact initiatives, and supported church plants and leadership transitions. Working across sectors allows me to spot opportunities others often miss, step into complexity with clarity, and build the trust needed to move people and projects forward.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience, I bring together strategy, storytelling, and execution — helping ideas take shape, gain traction, and scale.
Alongside my strategic communications and advisory practice, I’m a spoken word artist, writer, and teacher.
How I bring ideas to life

Building from the ground up and helping leaders bring ideas to life is one of the most meaningful elements of my work. I’m drawn to early ambiguity — when there’s a strong idea, but no clear path forward. I step in to help shape direction, building strategies, teams, and frameworks that move work forward.
I ground this work in actionable plans, open communication, and strong partnerships that create alignment while still leaving room for people to make it their own.
While I enjoy launching new projects, I’m just as focused on what comes after. That means building solid foundations, scaling thoughtfully, and adapting when reality inevitably shifts.
At the center of it all are people. I care about creating environments where individuals can do meaningful work, feel inspired by what they’re building, and experience joy along the way.

I started in communications as a teenager, though I didn’t realize that’s what it was at the time.
At 14, I wrote a speech for our store’s grand opening and convinced my manager to deliver it. What stayed with me wasn’t the moment itself, but how quickly people respond when an idea is communicated well.
That instinct — knowing when communication can elevate a moment and how to shape messaging that lands and connects — still guides my work today.
I partner with leaders and organizations on communications strategy, helping them shape clear narratives, strengthen executive presence, and build alignment and trust across teams and stakeholders.

Creativity is the thread that runs through everything I do. It’s how I see ideas before they’re fully formed, and a core part of how I think, build, and communicate.
I’ve always loved language and its power to heal, transform, and unite. I grew up reading the greats — Langston Hughes, Maya Angelou, and Nikki Giovanni — while quietly writing poetry of my own. It took time to find the beauty and strength in my voice as an artist. But as I connected more deeply with what stirs me — Jesus, justice, and love — my creative expression began to flow with greater freedom and purpose.
Today, poetry and spoken word are the most distinctive gifts I bring into partnerships. I collaborate on projects where creative expression deepens messaging, shapes meaningful experiences, and helps ideas resonate on a more human level. I’m also currently developing my first poetry devotional collection.
