Hi, I’m Kapria!

I bring ideas to life, from concept to execution and beyond.

A little bit about me

First ever and never done before are where I do my best work. I help leaders launch new ideas, from concept to execution and beyond.

My experience spans corporate, nonprofit, and ministry sectors. I’ve led global communications, launched education and community impact initiatives, and supported church plants and leadership transitions. Working across sectors allows me to spot opportunities others often miss, step into complexity with clarity, and build the trust needed to move people and projects forward.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience, I bring together strategy, storytelling, and execution — helping ideas take shape, gain traction, and scale.

Alongside my strategic communications and advisory practice, I’m a spoken word artist, writer, and teacher.

What people are saying

“Kapria, without you the Detroit Experience Studio would have been good, but because of you it’s great! Over the years, I’ve seen lots of wonderful proposals that eventually fizzled on the vine. But in this case, it doesn’t seem that long ago that you and your team shared the vision for this program — then you just totally went and made it happen.”

— Jon Cook, Global CEO, VML & WPP Creative

“Kapria is an anointed communicator who powerfully points people to Jesus. With a voice that is both approachable and passionate, she inspires her audiences to draw closer to Him. Her versatility allows her to connect effectively with diverse groups — whether speaking to youth, young adults, or professionals in the marketplace. No matter the setting, listeners leave not only encouraged but also equipped with practical next steps for living out their faith.”

— Mick Veach, Lead Pastor, Kentwood Community Church

“Kapria, you have such a sweet soul. The times that we spoke made me feel so seen. And to be loved, is to be seen, so thank you for seeing me. It means more than you know. Thank you for just being present. Your presence changes things. I think it changed me ❤️”

— Trinity Davis-Ford, Student
